A few weeks ago we were honored to be one of 2,100 guests at the 2017 Pronovias Fashion Show in Barcelona, Spain. Every year the renowned brand closes Barcelona fashion week and are the top show to see. The theme this year was “Le Ciel” (the Sky in French). A fitting name, for above the catwalk were cascading lights that made you feel like you were staring at the beautiful night sky. To the say the least it was stunning, to see the entire show you can watch it here. The star studded event was filled with socialites and celebrities looking ultra glam all Pronovias. As you see below, that is none other than our fave Whitney Port sitting alongside Louise Roe. Both looking unbelievable in jumpsuits from the Pronovias 2017 collection. You will also see Michelle Calvó in an exquisite yellow floral mosaic dress below. Trust us, it looks even better in real life. Friday, April 30th, more than 2,100 guests attended the 2017 Pronovias fashion show that took place in the Italian Pavilion in Barcelona. The fashion show theme this year was “Le Ciel” (the Sky in French), which took the show to new heights and transformed the spacious venue into a magical space under
the seemingly starry night sky. These gowns are all hand-embroidered in the heart of Pronovias's maison
converting them into true bridal confections. But this year there was also a great selection of
dresses with airs of feminine minimalism. Keep scrolling to see them all.Supermodel Irina Shayk opened the fashion show wearing the Pronovias Nuria gown made of crepe, embroidery and feathers.
One of the biggest surprises of the show was the Elvira gown, which was accompanied by a larger-than-life taffeta cape; taffeta being one of the new star fabrics of the collection, bringing freshness and flow to the garments.

When the show came close to the end, Irina Shayk stepped onto the runway in her third look just as the start of Prince’s hit song “Purple Rain” beganto play and all of the lights simultaneously changed to a lovely purple hue. And it only got better after Irina struck a pose at the end of the runway, letting the audience discover the back of the gown: a barely-there-illusion work of art with lace and gemstone embellishments.
