From Claire Duran: When I was thinking about the look and feel for this bridal shoot, I found myself thinking a lot about Barcelona’s Pronovias and Rosa Clará designer houses, and the woman they design for: elegant and classic but also willing to make a strong and bold fashion statement, at times.
My objective with this shoot was precisely to show an array of options, both for the classic bride, as well as the daring one, all through dramatic silhouettes, exquisite detailing and interesting textures, illusion effects, and statement backs.A strong statement was Maria Karina Cakes’ creation, resemblance of Gaudi’s stained glass work for showcasing our rich palette and intricate texture inspiration.
Our venue, The Retreat at Cool Spring, was of particular beauty and glory. The whole space was so romantic and serene, providing the perfect background for showcasing this project’s elements. Without going for a full-scale styled shoot, I still wanted to complement the chosen fashion (courtesy of Hannelore's Bridal Boutique) and accessories by Lindsay Marie Design with a few other elements for wedding inspiration, all highlighted through Dyanna LaMora’s beautiful photography.Highway to Hill’s gorgeous florals brought a strong and winter-like pop of color to counterweigh our neutral background of the venue and gowns.This was certainly a dream shoot and it was all thanks for the collaboration of an amazing team of vendors!A small gesture can go a long way, and we totally love this luxurious welcome wedding box idea for out-of-town guests.
