With autumn coming to a close in just over a month, we’ve been savoring the sweetness of the season as much as possible — taking pictures of all the soon-to-fall foliage and embracing sweater weather for as long as we’re able. I actually spent this past weekend out in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, celebrating my niece’s 2nd birthday, and the drive out was seriously magical (all those red, orange, and yellow mountains covered in mist 🙌). It made me throw back to my childhood, skiing at Shawnee and living for the rustic charm of my surroundings. The Heritage Barn is a beautiful setting that can accommodate over 300 people. The classic, red-painted silhouette is a standout photo backdrop, and on the inside, you’ll find towering wooden beams, perfect to wrap fairy lights around, a spacious dance floor, and a bar.
The Apple Orchard is a charming, intimate barn space, surrounded by incredible trees. The inside of the barn has a capacity of up to 75 guests, while the outdoor space can accommodate over 200 guests.
Memorytown can also host tent weddings for 150 to 300 guests, elegantly situated at Orchard Barn.
One other outdoor option for your wedding ceremony is The Kissing Bridge (an amazing first look locale or place for private post-ceremony captures) or The Woods Pond, a waterfront venue that offers a romantic fountain, sparkling pond waters, and an overall tranquil stomping grounds for your “I dos.”
For your cocktail hour and reception, you can choose from the Vintages Wine Cellar, outside of The Heritage Barn, and The Heritage Barn interior. The Vintages Wine Cellar is a beautiful, cozy space with wood beams on the wood-paneled ceiling and enchanting rustic decor.
