Something old, something new, something borrowed, something poo-tiful? Okay, no, we promise these dresses are farrrrrrr from 💩💩💩. We just thought we could get this news on your radar, because it’s Monday, and hardly anyone can help feeling like s*** at the beginning of the week. Unless you’re part of the baller bathroom bridal crew (that’s what we’re calling them) - 10 OG TP designers who find out whether they’ll be at least $2,500 richer come this Wednesday, June 20th…

Quilted Northern and Cheap Chic Weddings team up every year for their Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest, and this will be their 14th time around the block (err, toilet?). It’s always a stinkin’ good time, and this year is obvi no different - in fact, this might be the hottest group of contestants we’ve seen yet. What started as 1,500 entries from hopeful 3-ply pro couturiers has been whittled down to 10 ah-mazing designers vying for the bragging rights of BFD with TP and the handsome 💸 reward that comes with that distinction.

And to be honest, this contest is next-level genius. I mean, Quilted Northern’s mission statement doesn’t sound all that different from any bespoke bridal designer, right? Especially when it comes to “giving you the tailored comfort that you expect” and “celebrating that you matter through the attention to details that make a difference.” Just like you want your butt to feel well-taken-care-of, pampered, and catered to, you want a wedding gown that goes that extra mile, carries an “unmatched legacy of craftsmanship” and shares your “obsession about all the tiny details.”

So, before we get into the dresses that seriously make us so excited (we almost have to pee), we’ll just let you know that you HAVE to cast your vote(s) before 9PM tonight, June 18th, 2018. You can vote for as many dresses as you’d like - we each have our favorites over here - but you can only vote once (since the contest closes this evening). Get rolling, guys, get rolling….

Winners will be announced following the FINALE runway show at Kleinfeld Bridal this Wednesday, and we literally cannot wait to see who wipes the competition away. My money’s on Augusto Manzanares, the detailing on this gown is so dope we can’t even deal. But the back interest on Susan Brennan’s dress - matched with that overlapping 3D floral appliqué is 👌. And the dramatic floral skirt on Donna Vincler’s dress gives us all the feels a certain WHITE By Vera Wang confection delivers. Let’s not forget, this was all done with just Quilted Northern Bath Tissue, glue, tape, needle and thread. We’re sure that even some couture designers wouldn’t be able to work with such a flushed-out arsenal of accoutrements.
