Gown: Ryker by Sottero and Midgley
We loveee when we get to catch up with one of our favorite bridal houses for some style trend forecasting, and now that we’re well into January (how does that actually happen?), we figured it was high time we put some fashion content out into the world. If you’re not already familiar with Maggie Sottero, 1) Click and follow the brand’s Insta feed 2) Get to know this family-fueled and fiercely fashion-forward wedding dress atelier and all of its incredible brands dedicated to making every bride feel exceptional on her big day and 3) Consider a trend you haven’t ever before when it comes to your wedding day. 2022 is the year that we go bold, maybe even a little out of our comfort zone (in safe ways, of course!), to find a side of ourselves that we might be meeting for the first time, but that we’re thrilled to have ‘join the chat’ finally.
The brand has existed for over 20 years with a mission steadfast from the start: To make every bride feel like her best, most amazing self on the day she says ‘I do,’ no matter what style, budget, and wedding vision she has in mind. This is the philosophy woven into each and every gown in Maggie’s trinity legacy — Maggie Sottero, Sottero and Midgley, and Rebecca Ingram. And while each brand has its own cachet, price caps, and claims to fame (that’s not hyperbole, either), hallmarks of personalization and uniqueness that have come to define Maggie over the years still ring true. Each dress (from every brand) can be ordered petite to plus-size and hand made to a bride’s most particular specifications and accessory preferences. Many of the Maggie styles feature variations in coverage, sleeve lengths, neckline styles, illusion details, shapewear lining, and more. Customization is paramount to ensure a bride steps into her dress and then simply forgets the rest 🙌.
