The New 2020-2021 Elysian Collection from Grace Loves Lace Is Literal Perfection
Okay, so at first we were really bummed about Bridal Fashion Week becoming yet another casualty of COVID, but after realizing we’d still be able to get all of the pretty - just from the comfort of our own homes - we mellowed out. A lot. Bridal brands are taking care of their girls, even in the midst of this global catastrophe, and we’re beyond here for it. One of our favorites, Australian lovely Grace Loves Lace, has been teasing their 2020-2021 Elysian Collection on Insta for weeks now. And yes, we won’t have the pleasure of seeing these gowns IRL, on the runway, but that doesn’t matter. They photograph phenomenally, the campaign video is a freakin’ DREAM, and my goddd do these dresses melt our stresses. And they do it really, really well. GLL Elysian Collection, let’s go.

Hmm, resilient brides. Couldn’t sound any more appropriate for 2020, don’t ya think? First impressions.
Everything just epitomizes sophistication and - you guessed it - GRACE (in all of the capitals). That’s the common denominator, the lasting thread woven into every one of these beauties. Remember what we said before about mourning not being able to see this newness own the runways? Well, who needs that. When you look at something like this, and imagine your wedding day, you can literally close your eyes and imagine you’re an ethereal nymph who has just come to life. Also, and maybe it’s just us, but looking at these gowns altogether, we get major The Virgin Suicide vibes. Definitely not in a creepy way, more so like yessss, I too can have that Kirsten Dunst-inspired, indelible and haunting effect on my future husband (or wife, of course!) when I step into this celestial gown and float down the aisle.
