We loveeee us a good boho gown - you probably already know that. But what we love even more, is boho that isn’t completely basic. I.e. fringe and flutter sleeves, crocheted details and flower crowns. And that’s exactly what Savannah Miller gave us in her Fall/Winter 2019 collection. The new stable of gowns was inspired by the Rolling Stones’ “Wild Horses” and it captures the true essence of the bohemian bride. The cool-girl British bridal brand explores texture and lace while adding ruffles and fabric to create a thoroughly-modern offering for the alternative, fashion-conscious bride. 🙌🙌🙌
“I really wanted this collection to capture the ethereal intoxication that is falling in love,” says Miller. “I played with texture and custom embroidery this season to bring that magical quality to the gowns whilst evolving the ‘30s-inspired elegance that is synonymous with the brand.”
Seriously, we couldn’t think of a better way to describe the dresses - true representations of unbridled, passionate love and life, really.
It’s not unicorns we’re talking about here, when we say wild horses, either. No glitter and no rainbows involved in this whimsy, instead it’s more about 1930s elegance reflected in the simplicity of classic silhouettes (so, not like a 🦄, but a classic horse, untamed, with edge and free-spiritedness for days). Delicate layers of tulle and chiffon add an ethereal touch reminiscent of a fairytale to this vibrant new collection, while a combination of matte and shine bring fresh crispness and modernity to the ensems.

And if you’re wondering why the designer’s name sounds so familiar, you’re not wrong! This New York-born, London-raised English fashion designer studied design at Central Saint Martins and went on to work for Matthew Williamson and Alexander McQueen before refining her own beautiful aesthetic. She created her own label with her sister, actress Sienna Miller, at first, but then set out to launch her own bridal collection. Now, she’s bringing all her boho know-how to one of the industry’s biggest design houses - the Justin Alexander Luxury Group.
Speaking of London... one of these looks gives us real Meghan Markle vibes.... Right?!?!! 👇
