Grace + Ivory's try-at-home program may bring the wedding dress options to your doorstep...but that doesn’t mean finding the one has to be a solo mission. Whether it’s a girls day, opening a bottle of wine with your cool aunt, or a charcuterie spread with your maid of honor...we’ve planned out a few perfect try-at-home days for every kind of bride.
A mimosa bar. Break out the juices, fruit toppings, and bubbly for the perfect try-at-home day ensemble. If you’re crafty, a DIY mimosa bar sign would be a fun night before project to distract yourself from taking a sneak peak into your Grace + Ivory dress box (We won’t blame you if you do).
Try on your Grace + Ivory Wedding Dresses! After you’ve set the stage, put on a feel-good playlist and settle your squad into the living room (or whatever room!)...it’s time to make your grand entrance in dress number one. Pull your maid of honor to help you into the dress, clip the parts that are too big, and give you the final button up or zip. She’ll also be in charge of the fluffing the train when it’s time to show off your dress selections.
Pizza and a movie. After an afternoon of trying on dresses, you’ll definitely work up an appetite. Order your favorite pizza and wind down with the wedding themed movie of your choice. Yes, Wedding crashers is always acceptable. Note, we advise keeping the pizza and dresses far from each other
Brunch at your favorite restaurant. Fill up on something sweet or savory with a brunch you know always hits the spot. We recommend a cute cocktail to let out any last minute nerves you may have over finding the one.
Try on your Grace + Ivory Wedding Dresses! Turn up your favorite Beyonce song and shimmy into your dress selections. We recommend these cute signs from etsy seller BellflowerCreative for your squad to help with your big decision. Plus they make for adorable keepsake photos.
Cocktails and Dancing! Maybe you found the dress, maybe you need to sleep on it...whatever the case, celebrations are in order. Get glammed up and head over to your favorite spot for drinks and dancing. Especially if your bridesmaids haven’t met, this could be a great way to get everyone acquainted before the bachelorette weekend.
Glam! Whether it’s a full face and updo, or just your favorite accessory...glam up in whatever way gets you feeling your most confident. Trying a wedding dress on for the first time can be intimidating. And if you don’t want a room full of people and opinions, we totally get it!
Try on your Grace + Ivory Wedding Dresses! Follow our try-at-home guide to help you into the dresses and know when and where to clip if needed. Once you’re in the dress, set-up your phone on a self timer to capture pictures or videos. They’ll be helpful when it comes time to make your decision. You’ll be surprised at how confident the right dress will have you feeling, and you may even Facetime your closest confidant to show it off.
A dinner out with your partner. Celebrate a monumental step in the wedding planning process with the person who means the most. If you’re waiting for the wedding day for the big reveal, resist the urge to gush about every detail of the dress...maybe just one or two.
You’ve combed through Grace + Ivory's gowns and chosen one of their try-at-home day itineraries...now what? Before you can try on your wedding dress prospects, there’s just a few logistics to check off.
1. Choose the dress (or dresses) that catch your eye and click the try on at home button.
2. You’ll be prompted to select the date you want the dresses to arrive so it’s best to plan ahead. You’ll get three days total to spend with the dresses so try them on as many times as you need!
3. After you’ve selected your dates, your dress will be added to your cart. Now you can go back and repeat the process for another dress selection (many brides coordinate the same dates). We recommend 2-3 because who doesn’t love options?
4. Check out your try at home cart and start making the try on party plans!

So open the group text and start the shopping list; the perfect try-at-home day is entirely up to you.
