Ashley from Housing Works reached out to tell us about the Housing Works’ annual Bride on a Buck event happening on On May 5, 2018 and we had to share. New York City area brides will have the opportunity to shop hundreds of bridal gowns, accessories, shoes and more for up to 85% off retail prices during Housing Works’ annual Bride on a Buck sale. New this year will be a VIB (Very Important Bride) preview, in which eager brides who want a first chance to shop the racks of gowns can enter the sale two hours early.
At Bride on a Buck, shoppers will have the opportunity to purchase new and gently used gowns from brands like Austin Scarlett, Marchesa, Vera Wang, Oscar de la Renta, and Jenny Yoo. The gowns and accessories come from several popular bridal companies like Kleinfeld and Gabriella Bridal.
This year for the first time we will be hosting a ticketed VIB (Very Important Bride) Preview in which eager brides who want a first chance to shop the racks of gowns can enter the sale two hours early. A VIB ticket also includes Prosecco and raffle tickets for over $7,500 worth of wedding products and services.
Brides who buy a ticket to the VIB preview will have two hours to:
- Drink Prosecco
- Speak to an alterations specialist from The Wedding Dresser
- Get first dibs on the merchandise and have an opportunity to win several raffles packages which include products/services from:
