Dress: The Cadence
I’ve been working in bridal for so long that I’ve gotten pretty acquainted with the typical “I Do” couture cues. Each season, there are a ton of new trends to admire, but overall, the looks really only fit into a few categories - princess bride, high-glam bride, boho bride, sexy bride; we’re super sorry to be so limiting, but it’s true (and we don’t mind it, we’ll take all the iterations of these bride styles on repeat). That being said, Desiree Hartsock Bridal just unveiled its newest “Eve” Collection and we can say, with all the confidence in the world, that these dresses are for every kind of bride out there. Anyone who ever thought about striking sexy from their aisle style persona, you can think again, because it’s woven into all of these designs and done so subtly. It’s magic.
According to Desiree, this collection is inspired by the femininity and beauty of a woman, and showcases free-spirited and ethereal styles for every bride. Confectioned with silk chiffon, tulle, Chantilly laces, and entrancing floral appliqué, the dresses certainly stun and make sense as an ensemble - with a bohemian sensibility and essence, for sure - but what we’re even more excited about is the finespun arc of sexiness that vibrates through the entire assortment. None of the dresses are outrightly risqué or come-hither hot, but that’s what is so refreshing and amazing (especially for brides who never really considered sexy to be a part of their future vow-fashion vocabulary).
Dress: The Jasmine
Not with dramatic amounts of skin-baring details, not with cleavage-enhancing tailoring, not even with body-hugging silhouettes, but instead with ultra feminine, delicate, and demure designs just kissed with allure. Here’s what we love about these looks. Modern strokes of sexiness:
Cunning cutouts. You don’t see cutouts dominating many bridal runways at market each season, but Eve’s interpretation of cutouts is so sophisticated and tasteful. Instead of huge, rib-showing slices taken out of the dresses, gowns like the Tia and the Sonny just feature teases of skin on a woman’s best and most attractive assets (approaching the small of her back, her midriff, and just above her hips).

Illusion detailing. We will always show up for illusion detailing - it’s by far one of our fave bridal motifs. And this time around, Desiree uses it so confidently (peep the Flora dress) to show off a bride’s stunning décolletage. The lace literally looks like it’s hovering over the model’s shoulders unattached to anything. It’s beautiful! She also uses lace to deftly disguise sheer areas that a bride may want to cover, but still dreams of showing off. Sienna and Everly (and lots not forget about that slit, either), looking at you two 👀.
Dress: The Flora
Brave open backs. A majority of the Eve gowns feature plunging, dropped backs that are darling at the same time they’re daring. And it’s soo fun! Brielle, Juniper, Sienna, where have you been all our lives?

Not to mention, the sheer colorway of a few of these stunners - with the nude and champagne linings - is sexy and seductive without being revealing in any major way.
Desiree was ALWAYS America’s sweetheart on The Bachelor/The Bachelorette, but she’s also so fierce, sexy, and strong. This new collection is SO her spirit animal, don’t you think?!?!! 🙌🙌🙌
