How we met:

Keena:

Craig and I met at our alma mater, Augustana College, during the summer of 2009. We both happened to be visiting campus for the Quad City Bix and were both out with friends. At the end of the night, Craig approached me and began talking to me. After talking for a while, I agreed to give him my phone number, and later that night he sent me a message telling me how much he enjoyed talking with me and hoped to see me soon.

A month went by before I saw him again as summer was winding down and we were getting ready for the school year to begin. The first night back on campus we met up again and after hanging out for a couple of weeks, he asked me to be his girlfriend on September 13, 2009. Who knew that we would be getting married some day! I feel extremely blessed to have met my best friend and life partner. He is my college sweetheart, and the love of my life :)

Craig:

Keena and I met the July of 2009 during a summer get together at Augustana.  After we began talking we found out we had a lot in common and ended up hanging out until the night ended and everyone was going home.  She was a very fun and interesting girl and I knew that I wanted to get to know her better.  Once we started school again in August we began spending much of our free time together and what started out as a friendship evolved into a relationship.  As I reflect back on my time at Augustana many of my fondest memories are the times I spent with Keena.  As the years passed and we survived traveling across the world to Australia, both getting our degrees, and working through a long distance relationship we grew closer and closer.  Keena is my best friend and I am truly blessed to get to call her my future wife!
