Pain in your feet can show on your face and seriously effect your enjoyment factor. Work out a comfortable height difference between you and your partner to get the best out of your photography and video.

TIP: Take a look at your collection of shoes at home, there will probably be a common theme between all of them in terms of toe shape, you are either a pointy toe girl or a rounded toe. Stick to what you know and love, chances are your feet will be happier.

TIP: If your dress is full length and you are intending on going for an open toe sandal, try holding a piece of floor length fabric when trying the sandals on. Seeing just toes isn’t so elegant and instantly creates a more relaxed look, if that’s not the look you are aiming for consider trying closed toe options on so you can compare.

TIP: Pulling your bridal together can be challenging……it’s the most important day of your life and in most cases the most money you’ll spend on just one outfit. Despite all of this, most of the ingredients of the look are chosen in isolation! A great way to ensure that the look is co ordinated and considered is to stick to a one or two common elements. For example, all metal to be gold or silver, pearls or crystals, one colour accent. If your dress has a floral feature for example, try to follow this through rather than adding different motifs. Take as many photos and swatches to help you make decisions and to keep colours and details fresh in your mind.

TIP: Veil or no veil, that is the question……from personal experience of being a bride to be, I never tried a veil on, not even once just for fun. I regret that now, you are only a bride for one day in the whole of your life, embrace that. Try a veil and then make your mind up!

TIP: If your dress is made of very delicate tuille fabric is best to avoid shoes with lots of 3/d metal detailing, it can catch on the fabric and potentially damage the shoes and the dress. Flat beading and beading with a lacquered surface is the best way to minimize this.

TIP: Another note from personal experience, hind sight is a wonderful thing! Try everything on together at least a week before the wedding, and when I say everything I mean everything…..lingerie, jewelry, shoes, belt, veil, hair decoration……even your something borrowed. The length of a necklace for example can fight with your neckline on the dress. Leave enough time to find other options if everything you’ve lovingly chosen doesn’t come together perfectly.
