Makeup Test
I definitely wouldn't have done anything differently because the experience was unforgettable. I suggest taking time to pick out outfits, locations, and the little details like hair and makeup. Elizabeth Root did my makeup bridal trial for the engagement photos and they turned out beautifully. This could be a great chance for other brides-to-be to not only see how their makeup is going to look on their big day, but to see how it photographs as well!

(Click through to read the rest!)The evening was spent chatting and dancing, but we left without exchanging numbers and went our separate ways.Little did we know that moment would become the beginning of our love story.The next night I went to a house party with some of my girlfriends and bumped into Zach.I quickly found out that it was his house...talk about a wild coincidence.We were inseparable for the next two weeks until he asked me to be his girlfriend in the pouring rain.Our love began in college and grew as we experienced a few years of long distance across the country.California ultimately captured our hearts and we left everything we once knew to begin a new life.Zach planned a beautiful proposal at Torrey Pines State Beach, which inspired us to mix up the scenery for our engagement shoot.We're nature enthusiasts and knew that Joshua Tree truly embodied our personalities.It has a magical beauty that we admire.Working with Jenna was UNREAL.She has a way of capturing the most natural moments for couples to enjoy for years to come.We're both very relaxed and wanted our outfits to represent that part of us.My advice to brides is to find a photographer who has work you idolize and pick a location that expresses your vibe as a couple.
