Just as the meandering shorelines speak to the soul of Maryland’s Eastern Shore, the lush fields speak to the heart. The beauties of land and sea exist in perfect harmony on the outer reaches of the Chesapeake Bay, though the latter tends to seduce the spotlight.

For this shoot, we took our inspiration from the serenity and sustenance of the agrarian side of Eastern Shore life, choosing a peach orchard as the backdrop for our rustic grove theme.

Cocooned beneath the leafy branches of the orchard’s charming peach trees, we created a scene influenced by the range of hues in the peach spectrum—from classic peach to deep crimson, and everything in between. Subtle nods to the fruit of the land—like peach embellished paper goods, a peach tart at each place setting and a peach mint julep signature drink—were balanced with rich tones in the basketweave chargers and stunning floral arrangements rife with the fullest peony blooms we’ve ever seen!

The floral color palette by Intrigue Design & Decor perfectly matched our vision of walking the line between a cheery and moody peach vibe—the addition of vibrant pink peonies creating just the right pop amid a garden of deep rouge and burnt orange.

Loose, airy fabrics in the table linens and bridal gowns completed the look. Amsale’s Georgia gown from Garnish Boutique flowed effortlessly with the lush treescape and ivory sofa from XOXO Vintage.

The lace and tulle detail on the Christos Edith dress was the perfect complement to the golden hour light as the sun began setting behind the picturesque peach grove.
