Quiz: Where Should You and Bae Vacay This Summer?
Not sure if it’s royal wedding fever calling us to London or the fact that Becca will be doing the damn thing in the Bachelorette chateau (and then alllll over the damn place) in less than two weeks, but we’re seriously wanderlusting RN. Pretty sure you all are too, unless you’re newly-married and returning from a magical honeymoon…
So we prepped this quiz to give you a flavor for where you and your love should ship off this summer! Every place is great, so don’t freak if it isn’t what you had in mind. Sometimes, we need a little motivation to discover destinations we never knew we needed to see! Any vacay is a cause to celebrate. You’re teetering on the edge of basic. And that’s okay, it’s the best way to be! But sometimes it’s great to break away from the routine, do something different, and take chances, especially with your partner. You’ve been through a lot together already, vacationing somewhere new can be ridiculous, relaxing, revitalizing and romantic. All in one. We suggest going somewhere stateside, but still adventurous. New Orleans is a great place to go. From fantastic food and drinks, to energetic nightlife, and a crazy art and music scene, it’s an awesome change of pace for couples who’ve taken a lot of trips together.

You’re a business-as-usual junkie. Planning and routines are your vices, and you’d do well to have a vacation somewhere more spontaneous - where you can let go of your inhibitions a little bit, and rely on your travel buddy to make you feel comfortable. Your next trip should be familiar in setting to all of your favorite vacations past, but in a place that you would never think to go. Fiji might just work. Sure, you’re a softie for soft sandy beaches and crystal blue water, but what about a rainforest? It might take you a little while to talk yourself down from the ledge, but if you can commit to a ziplining adventure course, with your #1 teammate in tow, you might just enter into a new level of love and trust.

You’re just a tadddd bit codependent; you feel most secure when you’re with your squad, and you like to follow suit with everything they do. That’s okay, especially if you’ll be leaving your crew behind for a trip with your guy or girl. Of course, take their recommendations to heart, still, and maybe even plan a visit to a much-loved vacation place, like Malta. As a blend of Sicilian, North African and colonial England cultures, this mediterranean hot spot is ripe with rich culture, adventure (scuba diving is INSANE here), food, revelry and history. It’s beautiful and enjoyable in so many ways, don’t believe us, just peep some pics #malta.

You’re as balls to the wall as they come, and it’s great, especially if you and your S.O. will be jetsetting together for the first time ever. All bets are off, you’re in it to win it. So, Cape Town, South Africa might be the perfect place for you and your so-pumped sidekick. There are beaches, gardens, harbors, cable car mountain tours, shopping, street fairs, and some of the most breathtaking wildlife wonders, as well. Everything happens outdoors, and it’s pure gorgeousness. Also, there are penguins. Tons of penguins at Cape Peninsula.
