Alexa Ray Joel’s Engagement Ring is Beyond Words Amazing!

Alexa just celebrated her 32nd birthday on December 29th, and it seems like her boyfriend (errrr fiancé, whoops), Ryan Gleason, wanted to keep the good times going. You know, by proposing? The setting was ideal, too, because as evidenced by Alexa’s series of posts leading up to yesterday’s ring shot, the two were vacationing somewhere beautifully beachy.

Adorable. And then… she hit us with the ring selfie. And WE were speechless. Ridiculously exquisite? Yes. Yes. YESSSSSSS.

It’s not a trilogy engagement ring, like a certain future Duchess of Sussex, but it is still OOC and something that we think a ton of women - especially those with some edge, like Ms. Alexa Ray - would proudly say ‘YES’ to. It’s a hugeeee emerald cut, with embellishments on the side. And it reminds us of a few other next-level engagement rings that aren’t totally traditional, but still epic in their own right.
