Sooo a few weeks ago, I read a post on Cosmo about wedding registry stalking - how it’s an actual thing and how people love to do it ((can’t say I didn’t stalk a registry or two… to get ideas for my own way back when)). And it got me thinking about something similar we love to do as millennials: wedding website stalk. Don’t lie, you’ve done it before.. We’re not judging, we have too, and it’s fun!
Granted, it helps if the couple who puts the site together actually fleshes it out and fills in all the pages with things - pics, content, stuff that’s worth perusing during your peeper's lunch hour. Those are the best ones and they’re not hard to curate when you’ve got great templates to work from. We do… in our brand new and FREE wedding websites. Gorgeous designs, easy to navigate tabs, perfectly-positioned placeholders for pictures of you and your partner, and a mobile-friendly (iPhone) rendering counterpart for cell scrolling.
Again, all of them are free, so just consider it your first engagement/wedding gift from us. If you don’t take advantage, it’s for sureeee a missed opportunity..

Yes, we've got our favorite designs, but first a few things you might not have thought of (and that certainly make a difference when you’ve laid out all of your I Do to-dos and ‘creating a wedding website’ is noticeably missing).

Yes, you’ll inevitably have that kickoff ‘we’re engaged’ selfie, along with posts to celebrate major milestones in your getting-married journey (choosing your date and venue, saying ‘yes’ to the dress, brunching with your BFFs at your shower and bachelorette, going cake tasting, etc.), but you’re probably not going to share EVERYTHING on your Insta feed. That’s why a wedding website is great, because you can clue people - who care - into your entire love story: how you met, how he/she proposed, how your wedding weekend will go down, who will be involved, ALL of it. You can also post a ton of pictures and invite your squad to stalk you when they have free time.
We make the photo upload sooo easy for you, too! You can just drag and drop photos - and coming soon, we’ll have an Instagram link function that’s even easier.

You know that old phrase that often accompanied infomercials - the ‘set it and forget it’ thing? Well, okay, a wedding website can help you do that. From the time you get engaged, friends, family members, coworkers will be asking ALL the questions about your future wedding. Where it’ll be, when it’ll start, where gifts can be bought, where guests will be staying, the annoying, yet crucial details of the day and all the surrounding celebrations. If you can fill in these ?s, and include them on your FREE wedding website, you can truthfully just send the link to all your VIPs and then forget about it. If they have questions and you get texts, you can kindly point them to the website with an ‘everything’s here 😘’ response.

We’ve said in the past that save-the-dates give your guests the very first impression of your wedding day - that is, when it comes to style, personality, formality, etc. But TBH, a wedding website can accomplish that even before the save-the-date goes out. We have a ton of FREE wedding website templates to select from, each with its own flavor and festiveness. Beyond that, the majority of them have free printables that match the look of the website - from save-the-dates to invitation suites, day-of stationery to decorative signage. So, not only can you give your guests a sense for your style early on, you can keep the aesthetic alive in all of your correspondence and day-of details.
Peep all the picks paired with FREE printables!
Did we mention all of this is FO FREE? These wedding websites and accompanying printables are yours, for free, all you need to do is sign up with us and start designing!
