Modern winter wonderland

From Monique Hessler PhotographyRachel & Peter were married at SoHo63 in Chandler, Arizona on December 10th, 2016. It was a stunning evening wedding with a winter wonderland theme that included a roaring fire to warm them up as they promised lifetime love in front of their family and friends!

In memory

Rachel's father passed away four years before the wedding... he was a very special person to her and she needed some way for him to be there and commemorate his memory. Her maid of honor created personalized charms with her father's pictures that Rachel was able to tie onto her bouquet so her father was still able to walk her down the aisle. The wedding wouldn't have been what it was without all the people that loved us and helped us along the way.

Unique looks

From the bride: We personalized our wedding day by creating very special different looks for our groomsmen and bridesmaids. All the groomsmen were given wooden bow ties by Two Guys Bowties to wear for the wedding. The bridesmaids all wore different metallic dresses that fit their personality and stye.

Forever kind of thing

Peter wrote a special song called "Forever Kind of Thing" for Rachel and surprised her with a performance at the reception. Not only did it bring her to tears but the whole reception too. Rachel's sisters Annalise and Olivia also surprised her with a very special dance very close to her heart. They danced to the sister's song from White Christmas which was a movie Rachel and her father would watch every Christmas.

From the bride: We were fortunate enough to have a choice of vendors when booking through our venue Soho63. They had a whole booklet to choose from and within our budget we were able to exclude any vendors we did not need and choose the most reasonably priced to make sure to stay on budget... with that being said... of course every wedding goes over budget ;) We wanted to stay under $18,000 for the entire wedding including décor and anything else on top of our overall venue bill.
