Chances are, you are thinking about ways to dress your dinner table for the holiday. Lucky for us, Dana Todd Photography and Bay Blossoms put together a festive table inspired by the holiday season. Filled with rich reds, soft whites and highlighted with gold accents.
They put together a striking centerpiece with seasonal florals that sit happily in a birch vase, and a custom dessert table. All of these ideas can easily be accomplished on a budget. You can see more holiday table decor ideas in the full gallery here and stay tuned for fabulous holiday diy.
We set up simple items that anybody can easily achieve. Tying in rustic with elegance, the beautiful textured red centerpiece flowers were placed in a bark vase, berries and leaves were cut off from surrounding bushes to add more rustic nature to the scene.
We used a simple window scarf for the runner and picked up fabric to mimic the colors. Different types of furniture was brought in to add a more custom look. The table was adorned with gold lined china and red chargers.
The mini dessert table had the right amount of delicious desserts, with more berries and leaves added to the bases of the stands, fake snow (found at your nearest craft store) and mini pinecones (picked up from a nearby park) filled the two vases we had, one with flowers, the other with peppermint brownie bites. Candles set the mood for the elegance and the final touch for this shoot. How yummy do the cranberry bliss bars look? Visit The Recipe Girl to whip up a batch for your holiday table.
