Weddings are never alike, they may have similar themes but it is the people, the places and their experiences that turns each one of them into a unique once in a lifetime event. It always fascinates me to see what it is people gravitate towards for the their wedding days. So when I saw this wedding in Bali with all the trimmings of a classic vintage chic day I was sucked in. The vintage 50's style reception decor mixed with the impressive tropical environment it was a wedding theme mashup I couldn't help but fall in love with, Just wait until you see the wedding chapel!

From the Bride: My sister introduced us about 11 years ago... Loving him felt like the most natural thing for me. Everything seems so right whenever he is by my side. Our relationship had started 10 years ago, and like any love story we had our fair share of joy, tribulation and obstacles but we have always known that we have each other’s heart and we belong to each other. While I was studying Patisserie 5 years ago, Furia visited me in Paris where he proposed to me at the garden of the Eiffel Tower.
To set the tone for our wedding day, Kara Anne Paper designed our custom wedding invitation suites. Kara Anne illustrated a hand drawn floral wedding monogram, along with several floral elements for the insert cards. Her whimsical, feminine calligraphy was the perfect touch for our romantic garden inspired wedding. To bring the invitation suites to life, Pemberley Paperie letterpressed the designs on hand made paper made by Silk and Willow. Other items designed were wedding favors, menus, place cards, wedding weekend guides and ceremony programs.
For our wedding day, I envisioned a gorgeous, French garden wedding that included roses, david austins, blush pink colors with touch of gold accents and chandeliers. - classic and elegant. I am drawn to American Classic design, which incorporates small table floral arrangements, table detailing, themed colors, and personalized place settings. The specific color theme requested was blush, pink, ivory, gold, with touches of a shade of blue/grey. These colors were incorporated in the wedding invitation suites, wedding favors, and decor.
The day seemed calm, peaceful, and beautiful. Furia's favorite part was our first dance. He was very happy to show off his ballroom dance moves and sing a song while playing piano for me. His 6 nieces also performed a choreographed dance for us as well. That was a special moment.
Keep calm no matter what happens during the wedding day. things happen for a reason...but don't let the small things ruin the day.
