Words from Kirkbrides: The evening started with guests entering the home to an amazing floral piece by Plantscaping by Blooms surrounded by escort cards from Valarie Falvey from Kirkbrides. A beautiful floral chandelier hung over the dance floor provided by Event Source and drapery hung throughout the tent by Party Decor. As guests walked through the tent, TCB from Cleveland Music Group played and guests awed over the gorgeous tablescapes. Floor length natural linens with Monaco chargers and blush napkins were the perfect combination to go with the oakwood farm chairs all rented from Event Source. From the main tent, an eye-catching four tier cake from White Flower could be seen displayed in the pool house atrium window.
Words from the bride: My mother and I went to Chicago to wedding dress shop in the fall. I have lived there for several years after college and wanted to have a weekend alone with my mom. We ended up going to Bella Bianca in Chicago to look at dresses. In the store, designer Sareh Nouri (her dresses are seriously gorgeous) was in town from New York with many of her dresses. I loved working with her! Getting ready with my bridal party was one of the most treasured moments of my day. I will forever treasure the relaxed morning at home with mimosas (that I did not touch), light breakfast, music, and our new robes.
I did want to cut the cake but it got passed over in the midst of another fun tradition we started, pouring the champagne into our family style champagne risotto in the center of the dance floor during dinner. It was a blast to cook with renowned chef Dante and share food with our loved ones. As for the few elements that got missed or overlooked, it genuinely did not matter! Hold your parents hand often, sneak moments alone and stay together often... try to slow down the fleeting moments of the night and just keep smiling.
