While it is super cold outside, Karmen's and Tony's yellow summertime wedding makes us officially long for summertime. Their San Marcos, California outdoor wedding was held at the Green Gables Estate, and was the inspiration behind the entire day.
Filled to the brim lemon details, succulents and quite a few do-it-yourself wedding projects. This included homemade lemonade, handmade wedding signs and a diy tree trunk cake stand. Keep reading for more details on their wedding, including a full on price break down from Karmen, and be sure to check out all the photos in the full gallery. Photographed by Mozi Photography.
As you see the entire event is filled with shabby-chic style signs. All handmade by Kamren's brother. He made sure that they all matched them perfectly to their save the dates and invitations.
Karmen and Tony knew their guests would be sitting in the hot sun during the ceremony so they made up individual mason jars filled with fresh-squeezed lemonade and peeled lemon rinds.
Kamren and Tony's Mom made all the floral/succulent arrangements on the tables including even the little chalkboard sticks with the table numbers. Kamren's Step-Mom made her famous homemade Lemon Ginger jam for wedding favors, hand packaged with cute fabric for that extra touch.
As you will see below, Tony and his father made the coolest cake stand! They took a huge log, fire treated and lacquered it for weeks before the wedding. They also cut the small pieces of wood that were placed under small flower arrangements and used throughout the cocktail and reception area.
