With sweeping views of the Rocky mountains, it's hard not to fall deeply in love with this yellow and grey wedding. We know we did!
From the Bride: My biggest piece of advice is to make selections and stick to them. I spent, what felt like, ages searching through endless blogs, DIY inspiration, photos, etc. online--because there are so many incredible weddings out there--at some point I became completely overwhelmed.
It was easy to constantly change my mind in the beginning, but as planning went on little changes ended up causing big stress and additional tasks. It was only after realizing that while, yes, sometimes people are just being nice when they offer to help, others are genuinely interested and happy to be there for you--and aren't those caring people the ones you should be inviting to your wedding in the first place?
One of the most memorable moments was the not-so-traditional, surprise cake cutting. Our groomsmen received Best Made axes (hand-painted by the groom) as gifts which, of course, tagged along for pictures--it's a mountain wedding after all. Chris ended up chopping the cake with a mighty swing, all very spur of the moment.
