Not to play favorites, but we really do love the Fall! And weddings in the Fall make us love the season even more! Aldo and Lauren's yellow and gold rustic fab fall wedding has us missing that crisp and cool time of year.
You cannot go wrong with an apple cider donut cake and a beautiful ceremony under the changing trees. See every last bit of this adorable and heartfelt wedding day by visiting the full gallery, where you will find even more images from Tree of Life Films & Photography.
From Tree of Life Films & Photography: Everything had a personal touch including having the blessing stones at the ceremony. Each guest took a blessing stone to hold during the ceremony and give their best wishes for the couple to take home.
From the Bride: Craft your own ceremony and write your own vows!! It may feel daunting at first, finding the words to express such emotions (for the vows), but it’s SO worth it. We heard that there wasn’t a dry eye during our ceremony – and I really think it’s because it was so real and so us. Everything we incorporated into the ceremony spoke to us, so it felt totally genuine.
A week up to wedding, Lauren was obsessively stalking the weather because she dreamed of cocktails on the canal after the ceremony. At the end of the ceremony, right after they kissed, the rain began to fall. Although, she didn't have those cocktails on the canal, she was reminded by a friend who told her of an Italian saying "Sposa bagnata, sposa fortunata" - a wet bride is a lucky bride.
From Tree of Life Films & Photography: Lauren designed everything for her wedding and had a beautiful vision for her day! She decorated every window of Prallsville Mills with memories of the two of them.
From the Bride: Don’t do anything that doesn’t make sense to you! Having our bridal party stand with us during the ceremony, doing a bouquet toss, the whole garter thing, a traditional cake (we did apple cider donuts and caramel apple lollipops for dessert – and just had a small cake to cut), bridal party dresses that match – none of it made sense to us so we skipped it and did it our way. The day felt much more authentic.
