Azure, our next bride ordered a lot of her wedding supplies and decorations online. She had a vision of what she wanted as far as the style of the wedding. Since she is a wedding photographer herself, she planned everything with with the photos in mind. She hadn't seen it all together until the wedding. However, the end result was more gorgeous than she had imagined! So, fret not if you are scared that everything will not come together as planned.
A tip from the experts -set up mock table tops and displays. Take a photo with your camera or phone and print it out. Give it to your coordinator or close friend to replicate for you. This way you are guaranteed to see your vision come to life on your wedding day. You can see more of this Wisconsin Vintage Glam Wedding at Enchanted Barn in the full gallery here. From Anna Page Photography The bridal party's attire of Sarah Seven for the girls and JCrew for the guys was a perfect backdrop for the blue, yellow, and green florals done by Melissa of Sendik's. Two flower girls were looking adorable in Bella Bean Couture. The florist also created floral halos for the flower girls completing their look.
Azure had a bridal style of vintage glam and a twist of rock and roll. She finished her look with cyan colored pumps from Hey lady that matched the programs used by the guests as a fan. Azure and Eric held their ceremony inside the barn. Their short but sweet ceremony was extra special since Azure's father officiated it.
Azure and Eric live in a big city but love camping and the outdoors so it's no surprise they chose the Enchanted Barn in Hillsdale, Wisconsin for their celebration. They picked the location because they wanted to do a destination wedding but didn't want to burden friends and family with the cost of travel. The barn is nestled in the rolling hills of northwestern Wisconsin. It was the perfect location for their guests to roam and socialize while enjoying the serene views.
For favors, Azure and Eric gave their guests jams made by the bride's aunt. Azure's mother tied bow ties on all the honey bears to match the groomsmen and used fabric to fancy the jams.
Azure went shopping with friends to thrift stores for all the center piece vases that were filled with yellow, white and blue florals.
After dinner, guests were entertained with craft beers chosen by the bride and groom, cigars by a bonfire, and a photo booth. They made their own photo booth by hanging frames, using paper props and a fujimax instant camera. The pictures were then used to put into a guest book for people to sign next to their photos.
All night long guests enjoyed unique mash-ups and music remixed on the fly by Kevin, AKA DJ Feed Me. A highlight was Azure and her fathers unannounced father/daughter dance to Florence and the Machine's Shake It Out remixed. The rest of Azure's family joined in on the dance later in the song making an unforgettable moment in the celebration.
