Charlie and CeCe met in what they like to call the "old fashioned way"- online! After connecting online, they discovered that they had so many things in common. Both were college athletes from large families and had fathers who were professional athletes (It was one TALL wedding party!). They both were living in Phoenix but loved Austin (he grew up there, while she lived there for several years after college). Both shared a love of family, music, and competition, and found they could be their goofiest selves together. Because of these shared interests, their wedding weekend at The Retreat at Balcones Springs included celebrations, contests and games with former teammates, families and guests across the 250 acres of the camp.
The bride wore the classic Mikaella dress by Paloma Blanca from Blush Bridal Lounge, but opted to add flair through a gorgeous pair of white leather boots embroidered with colorful flowers to match their wedding inspo. Her bridesmaids complemented her look with champagne dresses from Revelry, while the groom and groomsmen wore navy blue and black tuxedos courtesy of The Black Tux.
Charlie and Cece's wedding was a unique combination of modern floral design at an outdoor Hill Country venue just a few miles from Austin, Texas: The Retreat at Balcones Springs. This venue is a camp for kids during the summer and a corporate retreat and venue throughout the rest of the year.
While many couples would have chosen a wildflower look for the location and time of year, CeCe gave the team at Flora Fetish the color palette, showed them a modern bouquet inspiration image, and said, "Have fun". And boy did they!

Charlie and CeCe also had several personal and DIY touches at the reception catered by The Bearded Baking Company. Their first date was at a Flatland Cavalry concert, so that album became the sign in "book." They also created all of the signage themselves, including vintage record albums for their seating chart.
The end of the evening was a sparkler exit followed by a getaway in the groom's family's ATV. After the exit, they circled back for more fun since almost everyone was staying onsite. It was the perfect way to honor who the bride and groom are as a couple!
