Lauren and Harrison's love story began at the SnowGlobe music festival where they first met through mutual friends. Their wedding, held in Pismo and affectionately dubbed "SLOGlobe," beautifully mirrored their unique path, adorned with personal touches and nostalgic moments at every step of the way. The wedding day featured a nod to their origin story—a donut truck that is reminiscent of the one where they first exchanged bites under the starlit sky at SnowGlobe. This playful touch set the tone for a celebration filled with cherished memories all planned with the help of Nicole Leza Planning & Design and captured by Dakai Photography and Chris Tack.
Lauren and Harrison's vision for the day at The Cliff Hotel & Spa was a pastel and tropical-coastal fusion, reflecting their vibrant personalities. Every element, from the décor to the attire, echoed this vision, creating an atmosphere of warmth, joy, and authenticity. They kicked off the theme with their invitations, providing guests with a VIP lanyard complete with muted tropical colors and a palm tree design.
The bride wore a playful Chosen by KYHA gown with a tiered ruffle skirt and the perfect California glam and beachy bridal hair courtesy of Tasha Gonsalves. Her bridesmaids were coastal perfection in mix and match dresses of all lengths, styles, and the lightest patterns, all in a palette of light sage green.
For their ceremony, the couple chose to have a low-lifted platform as their alter, complete with muted, tropical-inspired floral hues in large, statement-making arrangements by Annie Redd. Orchids helped create that tropical festival vibe while also adding an element of luxury.
Personalized details were evident throughout, including in their seating chart that mirrored the festival lineup, with each table named after their favorite artists.
The décor, inspired by the festival's iridescent art theme from the year they met, added an ethereal touch to the celebration, creating a unique and magical atmosphere. The bride and groom added a photo booth courtesy of The SLO Photo Booth so their guests could take custom memories of the day home with them!
The couple chose consistent, 70's inspired font for their signage and stationery items from Rose and Wrench, Paige Ruonala, and Studio Soprano to promote a playful and tropical vibe for their guests. What helped them still maintain an air of luxury? The perfect balance of the playful font with "handwritten" cursive font as an accent!
