Anusha and James knew immediately that there were sparks between them. The couple initially met at their first jobs after college. At one point, James was throwing a birthday party for a friend and thought it was also the perfect time to invite Anusha so they could spend time together outside of work. Coming from different cultural backgrounds, Anusha and James worked to incorporate both of their traditions, holding two wedding ceremonies in the same afternoon. They wanted the focus to be on a colorful and fun wedding that fused Indian wedding traditions with their own personal taste. Knowing that Indian weddings already included plenty of metallics, sequins, and crystals, they intentionally left space for their venue to shine.
As a lover of jewelry, Anusha was so excited to finally wear her wedding day outfit. Anusha was radiant in golden yellows and silvers, with diamonds, and an ornate pearl and emerald choker necklace. The couple chose clothing that reflected their culture, so Anusha wore traditional Indian clothing while James wore a navy-colored suit.
