When you think about France, or better said, Paris, you may recall in your mind some words, and some atmospheres. Like romanticism, elegance, sophistication and eventually the popular "salone du thé" of the time. Is not a surprise then, that back in the 19th Century, one of the loveliest Century in Paris, the city was dynamic and women personify all these words in their lifestyle. Because at the time, women were not allowed to go to the café (just for men), they use to meet each other in Tea Rooms, to talk and discuss, and to bond some very special relationship and women complicity. This is what we aimed to express, and to show, in our story: these wonderful feminine world, recalling all the magical and sophisticated atmosphere of the special Paris of the time. What a better place to personify all these magic, then the great Ladurée? Ladurée, is an historic brand, synonymous of refinement for more than a full Century. Their color palette, the polished forniture, the precious chandelier and of course their delicious macaroons were the perfect frame to build our shooting, which was indeed based on Ladurée's story self. By having a mother and daughter relationship we wanted not only show the elegance of the time, but to express the feminine world, and to show the strong bonding between women. The same kind of complicity was also very strong in our all-women creative team, so we could work very well along, and express the feminine feelings at its best. The dresses were made by Marianna Lanzilli, an italian fashion designer. For the bride we choose a very classic dress, enriched with precious fabric. The delicate Sophie Hallette lace goes together with the very soft silk, a naked back, and a bon-ton neckline. The make up and the hairstyle was curated by Lina Pagano, who worked toward a delicate tones, using spot light to bright our bride. The little girl who posed for us, wear a satin and tulle dress. The bride and the little bridesmaid showed all their complicity in the stunning environment, that Caterina Maurini, our florist, magically decorated to perfectly match the Ladurée style, using peonies, crystals, and vases to enrich an already perfect set. Everything was photographed by Lucia Fatima, who was able to catch the refined mood of our story. We've been reliving the good old day of the beginning of 900, when Jeanne Souchard succeed for the first time in combining the style of the Parisian café and the delicatessen of french patisserie, by creating in the Capital a magical place, incarnating the luxury of the time, which became later on famous in the entire world.
