A perfect day was ordered for Christine & Travis’s fall wedding. The first cool front of the year had swung through and the air was crisp. Travis, the goofy guy who we knew from college was all grown up and ready to marry his incredible girl. Christine is a graphic designer by day, and with a meticulously detailed sense of style she turned her attention towards her wedding incorporating. She wore an impeccably fitted dress from Morilee with lace appliqué, cap sleeves and an illusion back with buttons. The theme for the day was a romantic, whimsical and elegant all of which reflected highly on Christine's personal style. From the bride: I wanted something whimsical and elegant, but also wanted my guests to feel comfortable at the same time. I felt like the outside, hill country atmosphere paired with the chandeliers in the trees and wooden entry doors really helped with that during the outdoor ceremony. Huge oak trees everywhere, old grain silos and the rented old pine doors. From the beginning I wanted to incorporate greens and purples . My favorite color is green, hence the sage green bridesmaids dresses (I think the actual color was "sea foam"). My mom had lavender in her wedding and purple just so happens to be both my mom and Travis' mom's favorite color. When Christine's mom escorted her down the aisle and Travis's reaction to seeing her for the first time, I found myself getting a little misty eyed too. Moms getting teared up get me every time! The emotions and sentimentality were honest and raw, something every photographer loves to see.
