This wedding is unlike anything you've seen before! The bride, being a florist herself, made sure there were flowers everywhere...coming out of vintage dresser drawers, hanging from ladders and more! You will have to see every last wedding arrangement in full gallery here.
All held at the bride's sister's family's farm - Shady Elms Farm. A stunning place for a wedding, as you will soon see. The entire day was a complete stunner with an array of beautiful flowers and vintage details throughout! See more in the full gallery here, captured by Alison Mish Photography.
After two years of dating long distance Abram proposed to me two days before Christmas by placing huge letters in the windows of a building in downtown Pittsburgh that read "Melanie will you marry me". After that all of the planning started for our big day just a short 8 months later. Our wedding was at the beautiful Shady Elms Farm in Hickory with 300 of our closes friends and family. Myself and my mother in law did all the flowers with the help of an amazing group of women from Marsha's floral shop. The day was absolutely perfect and I could not have asked for anything more.
They had a cookie wagon that was out of this world and had an old ladder from the barn hanging above the head table with chandeliers and flowers hanging from it! Their getaway car was the bride's dad's antique Cadillac and they even had Rita's Italian Ice to keep the guests cool between the ceremony and reception! We had such a blast photographing the amazing details from this wedding!
