Hurd Orchards is a family owned fruit and flower farm nestled in the fertile lake plains of Western New York between the banks of the Erie Canal and the shores of Lake Ontario. Their herb gardens and two stone walled courtyards, their outdoor garden pavilion, 200 year old historic barn and 150 year old herb cottage are available for use. Their farm philosophy centers around their love of fruit growing, their endless appreciation for the earth's gifts, of the heritage of their region, and for the beauty which surrounds each season.
I would not have done anything differently, but my one bit of advice to brides is to be sure to be eating and drink lots of water. I have amazing memories of the food we had, and I'm sure I was feeling much better with a full stomach. It's super easy to get dehydrated when there's so much excitement happening, but consistently remembering to drink water made the night (and the next morning) so much more enjoyable.
