Colette & Lyle's wedding radiated warmth and personality from the getting ready time to the cake cutting! To match their gorgeous and historical venue, the wedding details from the invitations to the bride's 50's style dress evoked a Newport garden party theme.
From the planner, AN Intimate Event:
"I loved that Collette really leaned into the theme in her attire as well. A mid-dress by Monique Lhuillier.. I mean you can’t go wrong! Plus she paired it with the perfect birdcage veil that matched her styled pixie cut."
This darling East Coast couple had their first look before their gorgeous ceremony. When choosing their wedding venue, a sentimental memory guided their selection! Growing up, the groom Lyle would often visit the Newport area with his family - specifically making memories the the Tennis Hall of Fame. Lyle's mother remembered the beloved estate when the couple was seeking a venue, and what a special venue to have picked!

While the bride is not religious, she was over the moon to honor her husband's Jewish traditions in their sweet indoor ceremony. Since Lyle's family practice Judaism, they included cultural and religious aspects such as their officiant Rabbi Preston Neimeiser, modern chuppah, and breaking of the glass!
We're sure that Lyle's vows blew his bride away - he is a published author!
While guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the veranda, Colette and Lyle captured golden hour portraits on the tennis court. We especially love the use of vintage tennis rackets in these portraits by Move Mountains Co.!
The modern vintage aesthetic of this wedding was brought to life by AN Intimate Event, who translated the couple's playful and unique style into an upscale celebration. The lush floral design by David Gregory Flowers complemented the gold and green palette.
The modern and chic tablescapes were made possible by rentals from Peak Event Services and signage by Shanna Lynn Calligraphy; catering was served by Blackstone Catering.
This modern and understated brushstroke cake was created by Ellie’s Bakery. The kiss of flowers was the perfect touch!
When asked for advice for future couples, AN Intimate Event had this to say:
"Be you and bring in the details that mean the most to you! It’s your special day to share with the most special people in your life, so share the important things to you and your partner. And when planning figure out what means the most to you in your day and make sure you focus on that!"
