Ashen and Andrew knew they wanted an October elopement with photos to document it that they could look back on and feel their style through for years to come. Ashen already had her dress picked out from BHLDN, and she and photographer Randi Roberts were both so excited to capitalize on its nineties inspired minimalism with the statement bow on the back. From that inspiration, they began talking about location ideas, all centered around that same 90's chic style. The couple knew that they wanted photos at a handful of spots throughout Manhattan to capture the city's vibes. With all of the rich tones of the city in the fall, it wasn't hard to do - the hardest part was narrowing down where they wanted to go! With the simplicity of this being a smaller affair, they had the perfect opportunity to take advantage of what NYC has to offer to reflect their style.

They started around City Hall after their ceremony to capitalize on the grand and art deco style architecture. Their photographer wanted to make sure they caught those “just minutes after saying ‘I do'” moments! Later, they moved through the subway to Soho. Here they enjoyed wedding cupcakes, a champagne pop, and the luxe fashion aesthetic unique to this neighborhood. Rounding out their photos, they ended at Bethesda Terrace in Central Park for some editorial moments. During sunset, their photographer captured them doing a final confetti throw (biodegradable, of course!) to end their wedding adventure. It's not hard to see how much fun these newlyweds have together!
