If you love the idea of renting vintage props for your wedding, but not exactly sure what way to go, have no fear. We are here to help and our very own Hand-Picked vendor Casa de Perrin gives us the inside scoop on one couples shopping list. As an added bonus, we also have their wedding so you can see exactly how everything came together.
From Diana
Flatware: When Amanda and Mike first visited our showroom they fell head over heels in love with our flatware. With thousands of pieces to choose from, we were able to put together a mix of sterling silver, wooden and bone pieces to create the mismatched, rustic feel they were going for. The mix of these pieces perfectly accented their macrame napkin rings which were the most amazing bohemian touch!
Precious Metals: Our precious metals collection is comprised of silver, brass and pewter goblets/vessels. For their florals, Amanda and Mike wanted to keep to a bohemian-desert flower scheme. They used various pieces from this collection to house a variety of succulents in all shapes and sizes.
Ceramics and Vintage Bottles: Amanda and Mike chose their favorite pieces from our ceramics and vintage bottle collections to incorporate blooms that would accent, but not overpower, the exotic succulents. They chose to use roughly 25 pieces per table. Just enough to make a statement, but not too many that it would compromise the natural and laid-back look they were going for.
Rugs/Runners: Amanda and Mike have an eclectic style all their own and walking down a typical wedding aisle was just not representative of this uniquely creative couple. They chose to combine runners that would cover the length of the aisle and a rug to stand on as Amanda's father married them under a beautiful chandelier. The rugs that they chose are some of my personal favorites. The amber runner highlighted the warm, bright colors of Amanda's bouquet and our Smogshoppe-approved candle votives lined the aisle for an even more romantic feel.
Couldn't be a cooler couple. Amanda is a bohemian Pocahontas and Mike's this rad clothing designer with his own line called Beta Unit. He just so happens to be wearing one of his custom suits he designed himself. They picked up the the perfect accents from to compliment The Smog Shoppe's already stylish decor. Achieving the perfect 70's chic vibe look and feel. To see the entire wedding captured by Trine Bell be sure to visit the entire gallery.
