After meeting at the gym where they both worked, Tamyra and Matt kept their relationship a secret. Then the day came where they had no choice but to share the news — because Tamyra was expecting their first daughter! Now with two girls in tow, this couple was ready to exchange their vows in a relaxed wedding at Radonich Ranch.
Vignette Events designed and coordinated their special day to perfection with vintage and DIY decor coupled with a pastel color palette. Read on to see so much more from Tamyra about their special day, especially their full budget breakdown. Don't forget, you can always visit the full gallery here to see so much more of this vintage pastel wedding, all amazingly captured by Chloe Jackman Photography.
From Chloe Jackman Photography:They began their relationship in secret as co-workers, but their undercover love was forced to the surface with amazing news that they were having a baby. First came Olivia who is 4 now, then two years later little Casey and when Matt made his loving fatherly vows to his two beautiful daughters during the ceremony there wasn’t a dry eye in the house…ours included!
I was in awe of the details, colors and overall look and feel of their day. From the antique suitcases, to the doilies and wedding dress made by her mom, to all the fabulous DIY decor…it was stunning.
From the Bride:What would I have done differently: (a) My family spent so much time painting 110 mason jars so I could candles in them, but then it never got dark enough! So the effect I was going for never happened. I wish I would have thought abo
ut that and just put flowers in them. (b) I wish I would have made the rounds to say hello to my guests during dinner. I didn't do it, so then I didn't get to speak to everyone. In my excuse- I was trying to get my girls fed too, and diapers changed, potty breaks! My family was able to keep my girls for a majority of the time, but only mommy can do certain things :) (c) I wish I would have joined my new husband in the thank you speech. Especially since I didn't make the rounds to the tables to speak with people it would have been nice to give a big general thank you. (d) not have my kids first!! This is mostly a joke. But I will admit that having the girls made everything (planning, errands, online searching, parties) harder.
Guests went inside to enjoy the tasty dessert table that was filled with treat like cupcakes, rice crispy treats.
