The bride wore a vintage Oscar De La Renta to this Victorian wedding
Alfonso and Lauren met in high school when he was asked by a friend to help out with an event that Lauren was putting on with her speech team. After years of unwavering devotion to Lauren, Alfonso knew how special their engagement had to be. On an evening during a trip to Cancun, Lauren was guided along a pathway to the beach at their hotel. Alfonso was waiting for her with a bouquet of roses, standing in front of a huge light-up display that read “Marry me?” Planned with the help of Oak + Honey Event Planning Co. and captured by Emily Millay Photography, Lauren and Alfonso’s Euro-Mexican fusion wedding highlighted ultra-stylized Victorian-era glamour, nods to Alfonso’s Mexican heritage, and the most breathtaking vintage silver wedding gown that you have to keep scrolling to see!
European villa-inspired details
While planning, Lauren drew inspiration from their European villa-inspired venue, Laurel Hall. This Indianapolis gem was set among manicured gardens, offering bright marble stone interiors and deep wooden wainscoting for an otherworldly feel.
