Vineyard inspired wedding in a modern urban venue. Can it be done? It sure can! Sue and Eric had always imagined themselves getting married amongst the fragrant herbs of California Vineyards. However, once they set out on their venue search, Sue found herself falling in love with the industrial charm of LA’s Smog Shoppe. The final design vision combined the modern, urban charm of the venue with the soft and
sophisticated air of a vineyard wedding.
Gorgeous florals from Honey & Poppies really punch up the vineyard feel and you won't want to miss any! See them all and more in the full gallery, photographed by Scott Clark Photo.
Honey & Poppies provided loads of neutral and cool-toned textural florals, herbs, and white candles to create a romantic and inviting environment for guests to celebrate in. The ceremony arch was adorned with fresh olive branches, crisp neutral blooms, and beautiful hanging votives. Over dinner tables hung lush, cascading, overgrown centerpieces of eucalyptus, olive, and ivory blooms.
My biggest piece of advice would be to hire a planner if you can. Our planner made everything so easy and the whole planning process was stress-free. Also, remember to enjoy every moment of your wedding day. Time will fly faster than you can even imagine so make sure to enjoy your time with your loved ones.
Guests enjoyed a family-style meal packed full of seasonal ingredients by Whoa Nelly on bright, natural ceramics and sleek modern brushed gold flatware from Borrowed Blu. As the night came to a close, everyone mingled, sipped on custom signature cocktails by The Whaling Club, and danced the night away to tunes provided by Dart Collective. It was the perfect night to celebrate the modern and still timeless love story of Sue and Eric.
