Chinoiserie is trending hard right now, but we've never seen it done quite like this. Hanna and Michael’s Miami wedding started with a bayfront ceremony lined with rainbow-colored florals that stretched on as far as the eye could see. Then, during cocktail hour, there were strategically placed blue and white chinoiserie vases in a variety of styles and sizes with the same rainbow flowers in more of a market-style arrangement, they even had printed pillows to match. As guests found their way to their seats, they consulted a custom china cabinet that served as the escort display–and yes, you guessed it, it was full of gorgeous chinoiserie. This Couple Went All In On A Blue And White Floral Theme And We Love
A custom chinoiserie print set the tone for Hanna and Michael’s vibrant wedding at Indian Creek Country Club and was a theme throughout the weekend. The vibrant, colorful florals that lined the aisle along the grass were the perfect contrast to the limestone architecture of the venue. The couple said their “I do’s” overlooking Miami’s skyline and Biscayne Bay.
For their black-tie wedding, these two decided to go timeless with their ensembles. Hanna looked lovely in a modern draped silk A-line gown with a deep V neckline. She paired it with a chapel-length veil and a bold white choker necklace with 3-D gold flower details. Michael sported a classic black tuxedo with a bright red boutonnière and black bowtie.
As guests took their seats for the ceremony they were treated to a view of the sparkling pool, and just beyond it, the bay. The two were framed by an intricate white archway and two rows of lush floor-level floral that were bursting with color!
We can't get enough of these rainbow floral arrangements! We love how both sides of the aisle for the ceremony feature different blooms and how the color subtly changes. To keep the theme going, they carried the rainbow florals over for the cocktail hour and then completely switched to all-white florals for the reception.
How cool is this china cabinet escort display? It's so unique and it brings in the entire color palette and the theme in one place.
Guests then made their way to cocktail hour and the reception where the color story transitioned to neutral tones. Bright white florals overflowed from carefully curated vases that complemented the chinoiserie-inspired tablescapes. Guests danced all night to an exquisite band, as the perfect ending to a destination wedding weekend.
For their cake, the couple chose a minimalist 4-tiered white wedding cake paired with live orchids for decoration. As a cute nod to family, their grandma's Carrot cake recipe was written on the side of the cake display.
