This urban and modern shooting is created for millennial couples who want to get married. They are looking for new experiences and willing to do things on their own way. Inspired by this feeling of breaking traditions and freedom, resulting in an attractive love celebration, tender and different in an exceptional environment.
We would like to express the contrast between this modern, brave and transgressor spirit that characterize millennials, with this sweet and naïve side that belong to their age. We try to reflect this duality with a fresh, fun and contemporary shooting winking at the innocence of young people wanting to be adults.
The color palette comes up with the same idea. Mixing the softness of pastel colors (usually used in weddings) with metal silver and black (rarely used on weddings). This color range is the base for the rest of elements like clothing, decorations and flowers. Floral design also looks for contrast combining the cold dark vegetal base with the warmth of soft pastel painted tropical leaves.
Ezra and Gala micro wedding starts with a romantic walk by the city to the celebration venue. A luxury palace built in 1929 and marvelously redecorated, is the great spot for the occasion. We pick two main scenes: the backyard and the interior water area.
The natural light is the perfect setting for an intimate and cozy ceremony. We took possession of the space creating a modern altar with a floral column in the porticoed facade. This, together with the small tavern and mini ornaments railing serve to break the rhythm and slenderness of the cover and generate asymmetries.
With gray as a starting point, we chose the outfits, elegant and surprising for the occasion. Her, with a spectacular futuristic body with a low cut in silver fabric and adorned with ruffles and transparencies, on which we put a long plummet skirt with a nice fall. For him a modern gray slim suit with military boots and high collar.
The second scene is the private interior hotel’s swimming pool. We had fun using a space in a different way as its usually used and gave it a second life. We look for the contrast between this classic architecture with neutral forms and materials with Avant Garde elements like neon sign. It was interesting transforming the space giving it life, color and fun without taking away its warmth and softness.
We set a romantic candle dinner for two with a modern but cozy decoration. An easy and elegant table based on pastel pink with small black and silver touches to make the contrast.
For the afterparty, Gala y Ezra wear two wild and relaxed outfits. A short and fantasy dress in pastel colors with metal mix for her. Sweet colors contrast with the sixties feeling of the frill. The denim jacket is the main piece in the modern and contemporary look for him.
To give shape to the posters we look for a youthful and fun element on which to base ourselves. We took the typical children’s lollipop, designed them in methacrylate and transformed them into the wedding stationery: invitation, place card and seating plan. They have served us as a common thread and as a differentiating element of our creative concept, an adult world with a teenage soul.
