From Victoria Johansson Photography: I know this sounds corny, and all weddings are about love, but this one was a true labour of love, with it being a perfect representation of the couple. They love shopping for groceries, cooking and exploring new farmer’s markets, so they made their theme reflect that and went for a farmer’s market feel to the wedding, including farmer's market style seating plan, a bundt cake for the main cake and mini bundt cakes for their guests and lawn games.
The bride and groom had a “Unity Legos” ceremony, as they both grew up playing with Legos. They built a tiny Lego house, complete with mini figurines representing them and their dogs, and had the officiant explain how it illustrates their marriage.
Katherine’s mom spent weeks sewing up hundreds of feet of bunting (pennant garlands) that hung over the ceremony and dinner site, and one of the groom’s coworkers illustrated the venue signage for them. And let’s not forget the custom made moon prop that was used as a photo booth backdrop for their guests!
