Trust Venue Wedding | Meghan + Taylor | The Studio B Photography
You are going to just die over the dress and venue in this next post! Meghan and Taylor got married in the Historic District of Philadelphia, right next to the Betsy Ross House at the Trust Venue.
The couple are from Florida originally and currently live in New Jersey. However, the groom and several of the groomsmen are graduates of Westpoint Academy, so Philadelphia was a more meaningful place for the wedding to take place because of the important role it played in the formation of the country.
The Trust Venue has a history all its own: it was first a bank, then a church, then the home for the cast of MTV's Real World Philadelphia, and is now a stunning event space complete with rotating art exhibits on the walls. The original vault from the days of the bank is still intact in the bottom floor of the building, and the bride had a dramatic entrance into the ceremony as she made her way out of the vault and into the atrium where the guests were waiting.
She looked beautiful in her Kenneth Pool dress and Manolo Blahnik shoes.The theme of the wedding was Philadelphia and the history of the town, with the tables named after famous historical figures like Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson. The escort card display was a huge picture of the Philadelphia skyline divided up into smaller card-sized pieces. Later in the evening a candy bar was set out, complete with gummy GI Joes as a nod to the Westpoint boys. Meghan and her sister are the creative minds behind Kyle Michelle Weddings, and planned the entire elegant affair themselves. Enjoy the photos from this big city celebration!
