For their destination wedding in Thailand, it was important for this couple to immerse their guests in the tropical destination while still incorporating meaningful cultural traditions. Organized by ME Events Phuket, they kicked off the wedding weekend with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony and finished with a seaside tropical reception party that their guests will be talking about for years to come. Stunning decor, breathtaking floral arrangements, and an epic firework show–now that's what we call a luxe destination wedding! A Twist On The Traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony
Dressed in traditional Chinese attire, the bride and groom honored their parents in a Chinese tea ceremony. The bride looked radiant in shades of gold and red and the groom looked equally dashing in black with red accents.
For the Western part of their wedding ceremony, the bride wore an elegant lace mermaid gown with a flowing lace-trimmed veil. Her hair was pulled back into a sleek updo and the whole look accessorized with white flower earrings that tied into the tropical theme. The groom sported a linen suit–perfect for the beachy venue.
Patrick and Zhenxu's beautiful wedding took place at SALA Maikhao beach resort Phuket. The perfect blend of a traditional Chinese ceremony and a Western ceremony set against a stunning beach backdrop. The terracotta and tropical theme added a unique charm to this unforgettable event.
Petals lined the aisle as guests took their seats. They were offered parasols and fans as favors to ensure comfort in the tropical climate. Framed by a towering circular floral arbor, the two exchanged their vows in front of family and friends.
The warm glow of wicker lanterns and twinkle lights called guests over to the tropical-themed reception space. Palm fronds and monstera-leaf escort cards set the tone for the decor accented by adorable wooden signs that doubled as menus for the evening.
As a nod to their destination, the couple shared a small two-tiered coconut wedding cake with live orchids and palm decorations.
