Dan and Cara had a gorgeous tropical modern wedding at the Alcazar in dreamy Palm Springs, and the vacation vibe throughout has us dreaming of our own quick getaway! Together with Nicole Alexandra Designs, they brought their fun-filled vision to life with tropical florals, fresh coconuts and a fun gold swan for their poolside reception.
The bride looked très chic in her low back Tara Keely gown with stylish nude heels and anklets from Grace Loves Lace. And how about her tropical bouquet from My Little Flower Shop?! So gorgeous! From Loie Photography: Ready to get away?! This poolside wedding will make you feel like you left the real world and went on vacation. Cara & Dan, together with the incredible vision of Nicole Alexandra Designs, planned a wedding that felt fresh, modern, and FUN at the Alcazar Palm Springs. My Little Flower Shop rocked their tropical inspired floral design with lush monstera leaves and pops of fuchsia. To start the day off right before guests even arrived, James Williams (also the bride's brother!) created an invitation suite that felt like a postcard straight from your latest tropical getaway.
Dan gave Cara my most favorite wedding gift to a bride ever... concert tickets! These two music lovers were all about fun and good times, but before settling into a jammin' reception around the pool, they shared the sweetest vows beneath the trees with all their closet friends and family present. The chose a circle ceremony set-up, which was not only unique but made the ceremony feel really intimate and personal.
After the ceremony, the guests stepped into a cocktail hour where they served fresh coconuts courteously of Coconut Man LA. After some heartfelt speeches and a delicious dinner, the newly weds shared their first dance around the pool. Towards the end of the night, after jamming out to Dart Collective all night long, the newly weds & their guests jumped into the pool—wedding clothes and all.
From the bride: Splurge on the videographer! The day and night will be over in the blink of an eye but you will have your video forever! Heck, I watch my parents’ wedding video all the time, not to mention their super 8mm film format is totally back in style. Find a videographer who fits your wedding vibe and be open to paying their price. We wanted a rad video to reflect our rad wedding and we got exactly that! We watch our short video over and over again as it perfectly captures all the emotions of the day. See their video below from Grimace Films.
