Jason and Ashley met the summer of 2016 at...Lollapalooza in Chicago! Neither one of them were avid festival-goers but both happened to get VIP wristbands last minute. Right after Chris Stapleton performed, they were both in line ready to head over to see The Red Hot Chili Peppers, when Ashley was introduced to this charming guy with REALLY good hair! There was something special about him and Ashley noticed it right away.
Their first date was a few days later and that's when they knew that this was going to turn into a really amazing relationship! After a year of dating, they moved in together and a year later decided to build a home together in Chicago! Jason proposed shortly after in Hutchinson Island, Floria, and with the help of Ashley’s grandmother and swept Ashley off her feet in an intimate beach proposal.
The couple wanted a venue that could bring every one of their guests together, for not just one day, but for an entire weekend of wedding festivities. The Diplomat Beach Resort was the perfect backdrop for this Destination Wedding, offering amenities for everyone to enjoy. The incredible unfiltered ocean views provided the perfect backdrop for their ceremony and the floating ballroom in the sky had 360-degree views for all their guests to enjoy South Florida.
The couple decided on a destination wedding full of tropical touches. The bride wore a gorgeous modern gown by Valentini Spose and the groom wore a custom-made tux by Loro Piana from Enzo Custom, Chicago.
During the ceremony, guests had a stunning view of the ocean and a colorful, vibrant sunset. As the couple said “I do” a fountain of cold sparks rose from the ground and created a magical firework effect, taking every one of their guests' breaths away.
For florals, Ashley wanted tropical chic pieces that brought a lot of the local greenery into them. Rose Coloured created florals with pops of gold accents and soft pastel accents that included roses, ranunculus, anthuriums, and tropical foliage.
An LED robot with a Co2 gun made an entrance midway through the reception, bringing the party to the next level! The couple’s favorite part of their wedding experience was having their closest friends and family in one location for their wedding weekend.
The team at Alorè Event Firm worked on creating a flawless timeline to incorporate all of the unique elements of the weddings into a seamless and magical night.
The cake was created by the incredible in-house pastry team at The Diplomat Beach Resort. They nailed the tropical modern chic vibe and delighted guests with how delicious it tasted. The couple turned up the party with 9ft tall LED robots from Event Factor that danced the night away with them and their guests.
