Engaged Events planned every detail, and Venus And Co created all of the amazing florals for this special day at Winfrey Point. The overall style and design of the wedding was bohemian meets Dallas. A neutral color scheme popped with hints of olive green and terra cotta. Because Conley and William love nature and the outdoors, there were natural elements throughout the design as well. For the florals, Venus And Co created a mixture of dried grasses, lush blooms and vibrant greenery which helped set the mood. Luxe invitations and tabletop stationery by Hazelwood Paper Co helped bring in a textural element and continued the neutral color palette full of artisanal warmth.
One of the favorite details from this wedding was the collection of wicker baskets that hung above the dance floor along with a lush greenery install. It is impossible not to LOVE this fun detail – a unique way to add texture with decor that can be used again and again! The wedding cake was created by the Mother of the Groom who owns Faustinas Cakes based out of Austin, Texas. Along with the casual vibe, Conley and William wanted to have their favorite pizza served from Cane Rosso Dallas.
~ Prioritize what's most importation when it comes to vendors. This will help determine how much of your budget to allocate to each vendor.
~ Use elements throughout the wedding that describe you as a couple. This bride and groom loved nature, so it was important to bring natural elements throughout the wedding.
~ Enjoy the process, and try not to focus so much on all the wedding logistics --- which is why you should hire a wedding planner!
