Hanging wisteria, statuesque columns, and a gorgeous winding staircase make this Texas wedding just about as timeless as they come. While they did have pops of purple throughout, the majority of the wedding (including the venue) is black and white and that adds a crisp modern edge to this otherwise classic wedding. The bride looked stunning in a minimalist fit and flare gown and simple veil while the groom rocked a classic tux. And while the fashion at this wedding is nice, the hanging wisteria arch by Bouquets Of Austin definitely takes the cake!
Pearl Events Austin helped these two navigate through the murky waters of wedding planning during a pandemic and pulled off one of the prettiest weddings we've ever seen! These bright photos by Kelly O'Connor capture all of the beautiful little moments on this big day at Woodbine Mansion and Cloud Craft Studios was also there to get it all on film. With the help of many talented Texas wedding vendors, Katherine and Brady planned a dreamy February wedding at the Woodbine Mansion. At the height of COVID-19, the young couple was unsure as to whether or not they should rearrange their wedding plans. Their incredible team of vendors worked tirelessly for a year to perfect Katherine's classic vision all the while making it a safe wedding for everyone!
When the week of their wedding arrived there were storms every day, and a large chance of rain on their date. However, after a few sprinkles the morning of, the skies parted and it was a beautiful day! All the vendors were so excited and immediately started preparing and decorating the mansion for Plan A. Bouquets Of Austin filled the mansion, ceremony site, and reception tent with purple flowers and wisteria. It was absolutely stunning! Katherine and Brady’s ceremony was emotional, special, and everything they had dreamed of!
After their ceremony, the guests headed into the spectacular reception tent to have Mexican food (what else in Texas) catered by PEJ Events and two amazing cakes created by Simon Lee Bakery. Katherine attended UT while Brady went to A&M. Brady chose to have an A&M-inspired groom’s cake. It was so tasty! The reception was a non-stop dance party that included the bride doing splits in her wedding dress! It was such a great time for the couple and all of their family and friends! The night ended with an epic send-off created by Big Dog Pyro. Cheers to the Rathgebers!
The budget for this wedding was $55,000. Please note that prices do change, and this budget breakdown gives you an idea of how much a wedding like this might cost you.
