Winter Wedding in Florida
From For The Moment Photography: Desiree and Spencer chose an idyllic January day in Southwest Florida to get married. Mild temperate breezes, welcome warm sunlight, and the gentle murmur of the river provided the setting for their wedding at White Orchid at Oasis. The Old Florida style estate with capacious verandas in both front and back welcomes guests.
Soon, it was Spencer waiting alone on that portico for his soon-to-be-bride. He shifted his weight from foot to foot only slightly, betraying a hint of nerves, but only until he saw Desiree. All the other details seemingly blurred into the background when they saw each other for the first time, on the first day where they would be called Husband and Wife.
CLEAR TENT RECEPTION
Classic brick pavers and whitewashed woodworking led the couple to their ceremony, nestled into a secluded corner of the estate. Swaying foliage and the waterfront, stood silent witness as the couple said their vows. As guests strolled to the reception space, melting candlesticks, rich green velvet accents, verdant centerpieces, and a classic checkered dance floor hosted the fanfare for their beloved couple.
The sun slowly set, occluded little by the clear tent and luxuriant chandeliers. The guests, their family and the Couple shared laughter, good food, and good drinks as dusk became a perfect night of dancing and joy played beneath a subtle stretch of the night sky.
