This timeless elegance Texas wedding in shades of black, white, and blush is one for the books! Black is fairly underused when it comes to weddings, and yet this couple proved that it can be the foundation of a glamorous day! We can't get over how pretty everything is from start to finish, a their candlelit evening ceremony is to die for!
Not a single detail was left unplanned. Keep an eye out for some of our favorites, including their adorable wedding pup and sassy flower girl, not to mention all the beautiful bistro lights! Plus there's more in the full gallery, photographed by Elisabeth Carol Photography.
Chelsey and Trey were all about those details and a candle lit ceremony! Even though they would have an evening ceremony, Chelsey didn't want to miss out on natural light photos so they opted for a first look. I'm SO glad they did! It gave us the perfect amount of time to capture every detail in her dress and sweet moments with Trey (and her precious pup, EV)!
I bought my dress at a consignment store here in Dallas, called Anonymously Yours, and it was designed by Stella York, with added sleeves designed by me and my seamstress, Dian Wade of Forney, TX. I was having trouble finding a dress that fit my budget and met all my criteria (illusion lace appliqué long sleeves, blush, etc) so I found a dress that I loved and added the sleeves myself! I let the bridesmaids choose their own dresses and they did so well! Each picked separately and they came together flawlessly, in my humble opinion.
Have a person on call to run any errands or pick up last minute items. There are at least 10 things you’ll forget to include in your budget- leave cushion room for that. You get to do this day ONE time in your whole life, so do it big and do it right!
