There's no doubt, selecting a wedding venue is a difficult task. We find that it is easier to start by thinking of the wedding you want. What does it look like? Is it indoor? Outdoor? This couple wanted the flexibility of a venue that offered both indoor and outdoor spaces. They also wanted to showcase their gorgeous desert surroundings. For their decor, they went with succulents and organic wood elements that blended beautifully with this wedding's desert backdrop and the modern industrial venue.
Fete the Venue is a perfect wedding space because it is a blank slate but still has architectural intrigue. Roselyne & Co. Events worked with this couple to create a timeless wedding with a subtle desert inspiration in this cool space. These florals by The Flower Boutique dress up the minimalist venue while tying in the muted desert greens from the wedding color palette. Tammy and Ismaen were the sweetest and most accommodating couple. They were always making sure we had everything we needed to do our best job, even though they only needed to think of themselves on this special day, their wedding day. Snapping photos of them getting ready was such a joy. I could see the deep relationships Tammy has with her bridesmaids as they all got ready together, getting their hair and makeup done by Kelli Phan. Their excitement mirrored Tammy’s as she opened up her wedding day gift from her future husband. Tammy’s mother helped her step into her dress and shoes and spent some tender moments encouraging her daughter before the ceremony. Tammy’s sister helped complete her wedding ensemble by helping her don a beautiful necklace before she headed off to the first look.
The first look photos were so touching. Ismaen couldn’t contain his elation at seeing Tammy in her gown for the first time. Their loving embrace set the mood for the rest of the session. Portraits at the Noguchi Garden were breathtaking. The variety of backdrops provided such romantic scenery, from the looking pond, natural stone, lush greenery, and even mirrored skyscrapers.
The ceremony took place in an industrial-style room that played nicely with classic white linen decorations along with beautiful archway floral arrangements by The Flower Boutique. During their vows, they got lost in each other’s love as if no one else existed. My favorite part of the evening was seeing them get in the spirit of toasting and dancing during the reception to the hits played by DJ Mikey P...they’ve got the moves for sure! The night went off without a hitch with the planning of Roselyne & Co. Events. Every detail down to cutting the whimsical cake and cupcake duo by Patty's Cakes was perfect. Fete the Venue, at Costa Mesa, provided the perfect location for a classic wedding with a contemporary twist.
